Orinthia Vael
Lead Instructor
Fifteen years of bridal bookings across four countries. Orinthia structures each module around the decisions an artist actually faces on the day - not the ideal scenario, but the real one.
We started Koralani in 2022 with a straightforward idea - that quality bridal makeup education shouldn't depend on where you happen to live. The techniques, the feedback, the professional depth: all of it should be accessible to anyone serious about learning.
Koralani grew out of a frustration with how fragmented bridal makeup education was. Talented artists in smaller cities were flying internationally for weekend workshops, spending more on travel than on the course itself. That didn't make sense.
Our platform delivers step-by-step technique demonstrations - skin prep, contouring, eye work, finishing - through structured video modules with direct instructor feedback.→
Every masterclass is taught by a working professional - someone who does bridal bookings regularly, not just teaches. That distinction matters when you're learning to work under the pressure of a real wedding morning.
Students from Australia, the UK, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe have all completed the same curriculum. Location changes nothing about what you learn or the standard you're held to.
Trends shift season to season. The foundational skills - understanding undertones, building longevity, adapting to different skin types - stay relevant regardless of what's popular at the time.
Each instructor on Koralani is selected because they're actively working in bridal makeup - not retired from it. Familiarity with current client expectations, current products, and current pressures is non-negotiable for us.
Teaching style matters too. We look for artists who can explain their reasoning, not just demonstrate the result.→
